Synopsis (from imdb): The rise and inevitable fall of an amoral but naive young woman whose insouciant eroticism inspires lust and violence in those around her.
My thoughts: This is evidently hailed as an "unsung classic of the silent era", but I am not a fan. Putting aside the fact that the Sapphic subplot is piss poor and results in the apparent attempted rape of the lesbian, the treatment of women in this film is violent and infuriating. I found nothing about this movie to be redeeming, other than some very sexy ye olde lesbian shots.
