Major LGBT Tropes: Lesbian Vampire
Synopsis (from imdb): Hungarian countess Marya Zaleska seeks the aid of a noted psychiatrist, hoping to free herself of a mysterious evil influence.
My Thoughts: This movie gives you two Sapphic scenes, both of which negatively portray Countess Marya Zaleska, but she is so fucking lesbian vampire sexy that I really didn't mind. The first scene is pretty hot, but it heavily implies sexual assault, because that's better than consensual lesbian sex, as we all know. The ending sequence with Janet Blake is much better, but doesn't appear to get the same attention from film historians. Also, it's just a fun film from start to finish. It isn't often that I laugh out loud at jokes from 30s movies, but the pink humans bit got me.
