TW: Ableism, Kidnapping, Suicide

Worth Watching? No

Bechdel Test? Fail

Race Bechdel Test? Fail

Synopsis (from imdb): Anna a young girl is thought of having the ability to heal people mysteriously. Elisabeth a middle aged aristocratic woman, is disabled and puts all her hopes in meeting Anna and having her disability heal by her.

Major LGBT Tropes: Ambiguously Bi, Ambiguously Gay, Bury Your Gays

My Thoughts: This isn't a good film, but it has some great scenes between Dorothea Weick and Hertha Thiele. It's worth seeing them to cleanse your pallet from the problematic nature of their relationship in Mädchen in Uniform. Everything is subtext in this movie, but it is very light on the "sub" in key moments. The two were apparently friends and they have great chemistry.
